On the way back from SFO, I pay an early-morning visit from Escobar Gate, visiting some familiar scenes in the fog. There is no sunrise to speak of; the fog gradually fills with more light. Familiar trees are rendered in a new light -- almost silhouettes with a grey background.

Some wildlife appears. A rabbit, startled to see the newly-widened road. A hawk pays me a brief visit, far from the rabbit -- to the former's disappointment and the latter's hopefully extended longevity. And someone lost a feather near Escobar Gate.

As usual, please leave a comment on a photo if you know the ID or have anything to add.
