Three Valley Oaks (Quercus lobata)

Three Valley Oaks (Quercus lobata)

Looking the other way, along Road F. The same vigorous valley oak, covered in mistletoe, is in the foreground. To the right of the road, another valley oak holds the margin of an incursion of chaparral: the "Chaparral Oak". Barely visible on the horizon in the distance, almost obscured by fog, between these two, is the lone valley oak near the intersection of Trail 15. 6:03 am.
