Wow. Male Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna) struts his stuff -- hovering midair above his perch. Halfway up Spring Ridge on Windy Hill, 3/11/2023, 8:14:15 am.

This is an actual photo. No Photoshop. (It happened so fast, I was blown away when I saw what my camera had captured.) 1/2000 sec, f/4, ISO 100. I changed the exposure and brought out the details in the shadows.
