From the top: Highway 280; Webb Ranch; Jasper Ridge with Road F through the grasslands; chaparral- and oak-covered hillsides; then a house near Portola Road. The irrigated trees at the bottom are a more yellow shade of green than those on the dry ridge. Lower Searsville Lake peaks in at the left. Road E leads through the chaparral from there. You might make out other trails: Trail 9 leading down to Trail 12, even a bit of Trail 12 going along the valley toward Mapache Gate.
