A crab spider and a spider building a web; serpentine wildflowers at their peak; butterfly, moth, beetles, ants, and other pollinators -- and a barn owl taking up residence in the lone valley oak on the ridge. A spring hike from Escobar Gate.
In the interest of posting these images and getting on to my next ones, I may have misidentified some species -- or even punted. Many people would like to know the names of these creatures and plants -- I know I would. Please leave a comment with an ID or other information!
