From the bottom, foreground: Pacific Ocean. Seaside cliffs: a sandy beach at the left, at the mouth of Molino Creek; Davenport Landing on the coastal side of Highway 1, on the right. Swanton Road takes off from Highway 1, diviing down and up to cross Molino Creek, then taking a wide curve across the bench -- the NW part of the proposed Santa Cruz Redwoods National Monument -- before continuing into farmland beyond. Molina Creek near the left, and Agua Puera Creek beyond Davenport Landing, drain the proposed monument. The BLM lands proposed for the monument extend to the ridgetop. The Great Park lies beyond. You can see Warrenella Road snaking up the ridgeline on the right.
