Newt City! I ran into six newts, moving slowly through the grass, or frozen in place, hoping I would not notice... Foggy, dew; no standing or flowing water anywhere nearby. Some interesting play with refraction and reflection in dewdrops and newt eyes. See the nearby collection for other highlights of this bird transect.
