The ridge is prominent, above the chaparral, at the left. Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve stretches from just beyond the green field at the bottom center (part of Webb Ranch), up to the ridge, and down toward the San Andreas Fault and Portola Road on the other side; from the east boundary on the left to the SLAC corridor past the center. SLAC is of course the extremely straight line leaving the image at the center of the right side.
