Here is a decade of my encounters with Coyotes. Start with the first gallery, "Coyote encounters at Portola Valley Ranch", for a summary. The next gallery shows Coyotes at Jasper Ridge, and even Yosemite. The following galleries show the sequence of events for four particularly dramatic encounters; a territorial display, a visit to the Frog Pond, the downward Coyote yoga pose, and a Coyote catching and devouring a gopher, well aware of the nearby photographer and his dog.
