People at the Bair Island Aquatic Center kindly hosted a boat tour of Bair Island and environs for a group from the Nature Conservancy. We saw many birds, and more: commercial docks with ships loading up recycling to take to Asia; houseboats on Redwood Creek; office buildings and housing, including new construction. Bair Island is a newly-recovering wild jewel smack against some of the Peninsula's most "civilized" places, next to Bayshore Highway in Redwood City.
Please leave a comment on any photo, if you know the ID or have something to add. Thanks!
