Searsville Lake, at flood stage and drier; grassland, chaparral, and forest, in green times and brown; San Francisquito Creek at high water and lower: here are some of the landscapes our anters might have traversed, in the spring and fall surveys. Here are insects, spiders, birds, and deer – even galls. A somewhat random cross-section, for the enjoyment and memories of the celebrants. Even Poison Oak and a Pacific Rattlesnake; the tick is left to the imagination.
