The main event: a hike along Eagle Trail and back. So many Trilliums!! Even a rare, lovely yellow group. On the way, we cross Corte Madera Creek, looking down at the water rushing beneath new green leaves. Checkerspot Lilies blossom amidst the Hound's Tongue and near the Milkmaids, on lower Hamm's Gulch Trail. (We went up and down, avoiding a wet crossing of Corte Madera Creek.)

This is the time, go to Eagle Trail, but keep your distance from other hikers.
