Saint Patrick's Day saw mixed sunshine and heavy rain. In between, a brief rainbow over the Frog Pond. A pair of Bluebirds did not mind the rain, flitting from branch to branch, without a thought of virus or store closures.

We hiked into the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve from Alpine Road, across Corte Madera Creek, and parallel to the creek until we reached Eagle Trail. Wow -- Trillium!! So many flowers, groups and groups of Trillium. Even a group of rare yellow Trillium! Other flowers too, including Checkerspot Lilies, Hound's Tongue, and Milkmaids on lower Hamm's Gulch Trail on the way to Eagle Trail.

At the end of our walk, I came across a Coyote exploring the Frog Pond. We hung out together for a while.

We wore our waterproof pants and jackets and took our time. A wonderful morning, mixed weather, varied adventures.
