A group from the Jasper Ridge Herbarium walk past the lone valley oak on Road F. Do they notice the absense of the mistletoe? After this tree has grown here one or two centuries, I noticed a small piece of mistletoe beginning here, up near the top, 1 o'clock. Searching again today, I see no sign of it. Road R, 10:53 am.
