Bee-fly on Blue-eyed-grass Flower

Bee-fly on Blue-eyed-grass Flower

Blue-eyed-grass (Sisyinchium bellum) is neither blue (to my eyes) or a grass (it is in the iris family). If anything, its "eye" is yellow. In any case, the species name, bellum, holds. Road F, the draw before the uphill climb past the camera and the chaparral, next to the California plantain.
