Pink Morph of Giant Trillium (T. chloropoetalum)

Pink Morph of Giant Trillium (T. chloropoetalum)

The petalshave a white base below veined delicate pink -- not the usual dark purple-red. The leaves are not mottled as much as sometimes. This coloration is fairly rare. Star-flowered Lily-of-the-valley (Maianthemum stellatum) join the Trillium and other shady-woodland plants. Near the bottom of Black Oak Trail, Portola Valley. 3/31/2021, 8:00 am.
