I stopped at one location along Stage Road in both years, on the drive down to Tassajara. What a difference a year makes! Purple flowers dominated in 2009; Morning Glories and many others, in 2010. The Chaparral plants were of course sprouting both years, more in 2010. The location: Off to the right on the way in, at a big leftward bend. Poppies have been planted at a memorial for some dogs (I guess).
