Our first morning in Mitake, we woke to a magical world. A light snowfall overnight dressed every tree and bud in a soft white blanket. This started to melt soon after sunup. It was totally gone by the time we returned from our hike -- during which we saw snowfall, sleet, hail, rain, and sunshine.
