Argentine Ants (Linepithema humile) (?) Shine on the Trunk of a Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) near the Sun Research Center
Are these actually Argentines? They were on the oak trunk within 2 m of the Argentines tending aphids on the Coyote Bush, just outside the south entrance to the Sun Research Center kitchen/common room -- at the same time. Please view this sequence of photos and help me with the ID!
