Willow Commons is a residential community dedicated to supporting independent choice and successful community integration for individuals with cognitive delays – our new neighbor along Alpine Road, and my new friends. This slide show was great fun – lots of enthusiasm from the audience. It showcases the natural world around Portola Valley. It was fun talking to the residents about their experiences hereabouts.

The three galleries follow our local seasons -- rain season, spring, and dry season – and contain intimate portraits of insects on flowers as well as broad views of Windy Hill. A particular focus is the Frog Pond, across the street from my home and adjacent to an affiliated living arrangement here in Portola Valley Ranch, where several of the audience had lived.
