Searsville Lake Morning
Searsville Lake is a refuge for a variety of waterfowl, bats, and other creatures. It was formed by the construction of Searsville Dam (completed in 1891 in the same year that Stanford University opened its doors) and later was a very popular swimming and recreation site until it was added to Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve in 1975.
