Margie led me on a walk up the trail, to the top of Mount Hoffman from May Lake. We got off the trail, then separated. I went a different way -- up between the two peaks that are visible from May Lake. It was a wonderful hike. After reaching the summit ridge, I climbed the right peak for a better view, then climbed down and wandered along the gravelly ridge to find the true peak, the one with the radio tower and Marmot at the summit. Lovely views of the Sierras, May Lake, and the towers and peaks springing from the summit ridge of Mount Hoffman. Marmot, Hawk, & flowers too.
