Already set up, looking at the night sky, I pivot to the Moon. Each evening, sunlight illuminates more of the side facing us, highlighting different craters and topographic features. The last large photo was taken just after the last full moon, on December 2. OK: the Moon repeats the same sequence each month.
Bonus: a Moon halo, the day after a soft Christmas rain.
