The Edge of the Chaparral: Sticky Monkeyflower and Chamise

Colorful sticky monkeyflower (Mimulus aurantiacus var. aurantiacus) and fragrant light-bluish California sagebrush (Artemisia californica) border the chaparral. Chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum) and coast live oak (Quercus agrifolia) can also be seen. Trail 16, 5/9/2016, 9:04 am.
