An island in the Beagle Channel holds a colony of Magellanic Penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus). A predatory Chilean skua (Stercorarius chilensis) wanders about. This is in Estancia Harberton, which derives more of its income nowadays from tourism than from the traditional sheepherding. The island is variously called "Isla Yécapasela" or "Isla Martillo".
