The Maddalena Property in the Sierra Valley has been preserved by the Feather River Land Trust, the Nature Conservancy, and the Sierra Business Council, all members of the Northern Sierra Partnership. See <
http://northernsierrapartnership.org/project/the-maddalena-property/>. It contains wetlands with an abundance of birds; prarie & wildflowers; and a nature walk. A Coyote ran past a herd of cattle nearby.
