Note that mistletoe appears at the top in some years, then is gone again in subsequent years. The "Lone Valley Oak" reigns near the intersection of Trail 15 with Road F, on the ridge at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. Owls live in a cavity there, in some years -- Barn Owls or Great Horned Owls.
