Pollen-covered Bee on Beaked Hawksbeard (Crepis vesicaria ssp, taraxacifolia)
A native bee wallows in the pollen. Nice eyes, reminds me of some superheroes! Note the three additional eyes on the top of the forehead. Fast twitch, warnings for predators?? Near Road B, spring ant survey, 10:32 am.
