Indian pink at the point of Sweet Springs Trail over the years. At the place you can see Mt. Diablo, the Bay, and the Dish. This location on Sweet Springs Trail is the only spot in Portola Valley Ranch where you can find Indian pink (Silene californica). Please tell me if you know of more locations, or even spots in Portola Valley! Helen has seen some on Blue Oaks Trail overlooking PV Ranch.

We are trying to stop the people mowing the margins of Sweet Springs Trail from destroying this last stand. As of 6/7/2018, we may be having some success. Please respect our pink!
