A Golden Eagle seen in Portola Valley (Jasper Ridge), hassled by a kite. A Bald Eagle seen over Searsville Lake in Jasper Ridge. Going farther afield, a Bald Eagle at the beach, Tunitas Creek Beach, coastal San Mateo County, to be exact. Then, farther afield in location and in species, various eagles and eagle-like birds from Alaska to Patagonia.
