Debbie is "retiring" from full-time employment at Acterra. We celebrated her "four decades" (80's, 90's, 00's, 10's) of service to the environmental movement, and our hopes that she will keep in touch and keep helping.

Debbie’s roots with the conservation and human consciousness movements go back decades. Here is a partial, abridged list of her Acterra connections: she started with the PCCF (Peninsula Conservation Center Foundation) in 1987 as Program Director, and was ED from 1988-94. She was the ED of the San Francisquito Creek Watershed Council from approx. 1994-98, then on the board, and then Associate Director. She has been with Acterra since its founding – on the board, then as Associate Director since 2004. Always available, she has nurtured the Peninsula conservation movement for decades.
