Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

ID by Sonny Mencher: "To me your Northern Harrier may be a Coopers Hawk. The tail seems to long for a Harrier, the eyes don't have the owl like facial disc that a Harrier has, the white patch on side at base of tail is typical of Coopers - the Harrier's white is more on rump than side and underside of wing is more Cooper like." Confirmed by Charlie Quinn.
