Messor Ants move the nest. This is another nest -- see the first image for its location. This photo is taken from the center of Road F. The new nest is in the foreground, the old in the background. An older foraging trail runs to the left of the trail to the new nest. Ants were carrying pupae from the old to the new nest. I have called this, Nest B. Nest C is less than 1 m to the left.
