Multicolored blossoms festoon the serpentine grassland in springtime. Flowers attract pollinators. Spring is in the air: butterflies mate, Red-tailed Hawks circle in a courting flight.

Here are highlights from two visits with friends, organized by geography, not chronology. Out the Grassland Fire Road (Road F), then back around the Serpentine Trail (Trail 15). A spectrum of colors.
