We do live in a magical place.

Returning from another nice morning walk, I surprise a fogbow, dissipating over the Frog Pond. A clear arch in the shape of a rainbow, but pure white – all colors shining together in one joint radiance. Opposite this wonder, directly toward the sun: glory! The sun’s rays are manifested by the dissipating fog into a crown around the redwood. The magic soon fades, leaving trace of wonder.

Earlier: a blanket of fog rests at dawn, awaiting the sun’s rays. Invasive “Wild” Turkeys feed in the Hayfields Tarweed. A Western Bluebird rests on Longspur, its three dimensions outshining the two of the road marker.
