Here are some photos of raptors seen at Jasper Ridge on Friday Oct. 13, as I accompanied the birders out of Escobar Gate. There are four sets. See the captions for place and time seen.
Birds A: wonderful agile fliers, quite interested in each other, playing around in the air.
Birds B: I think this is the same couple, encountered again.
Birds C: Eagles? Golden??
Bird D: In the air next to where we saw Birds C, and just after that. But I think this may be a different bird?
