Two views of the unsightly storage containers built on the margin of the Frog Pond. From what I have heard — and, being partly deaf, I don’t always get it all — the school claims they need these structures to store athletic gear -- after a storage structure was removed as part of the massive campus rebuilding that is "almost finished". Did they really tear down the storage shed with no plan, where to store their gear? Or was this the plan all along?? These ugly white boxes are an eyesore.

I know the school does not have to abide by Portola Valley or Portola Valley Ranch rules. Still, these (permanent???) structures, while perhaps at the back corner from the point of view of the school campus, are a constant thumb in the eye for observers from the Frog Pond side.

Also visible in the second photo: some of the light poles in the play area. These have been lit up the last two nights, quite visible after dark. It is unclear to me whether the School plans to use these only for emergency evacuations, as required, or also for School gatherings and night basketball. I prefer the former. Certainly, not at 6 am!
