How is this possible? First, there is a big meeting, apologies, wonder at how this happened, pledges to do better. (At least as I understand from hearsay -- Helen and I were not invited to the meeting.) Then, within the week, another major encroachment on Frog Pond Park from Corte Madera School, in the same place as the first one, right next to Indian Crossing. I understand it is chaos over there, a rush to finish, perhaps behind schedule and over budget, but really: is there no control, no communication? Or is this deemed "OK"?

Perhaps it is time for a nice friendly post and rail fence along the boundary, or something similar, sooner rather than later. Something tangible to tell EVERYONE where the boundary is. Signs and exhortations have not worked.

And while you are at it, please remove those junky bike racks from Frog Pond Park. They symbolize and encourage bad behavior, and are an encroachment themselves.

I am not an expert in these matters, but if I were building something on my land, and my neighbor had asked me to respect the property boundary, and I had dumped pesky boulders on their land just after this -- there might be more than an apology called for. A fine?? I have heard that the Town might be short of funds to build a fence. Maybe the school or the construction company or some subcontractor or somebody -- is nobody responsible? -- could pay for a fence.

Just my 2c.
