Hovering. Diving straight into the lake. Carrying a fish to the prominent perch, to feed a youngster. Pied Kingfishers enliven our stay at Masasani Mananga Camp.
Other birds appear -- all pied, as in black and white plumage. A Giant Kingfisher, dwarfing its cousins. And a pair of African Pied Wagtails for a change.
Such fun, watching the birds from our cozy dining patio.
