Peak springtime flowers on the Ridge! Goldfields, Tidy Tips, Owl's Clover, Blue Dicks, and yes, California Poppies. In the woods, Chaparral Clematis -- visited by Winter Ants -- and Warrior's Plume hold court. Sonny Mencher convinced me to go with him today; I am glad he did.
