What a day! A bracing wind blows, clearing away all hint of haze. Views from near and on the two summits of Windy Hill are spectacular. Hills, forests, chaparral, grassland. Rolling hills down to the blue ribbon of the distant Pacific. In the other direction, a wide-open view of the Peninsula, Bay, and East Bay Hills, from San Francisco to San Jose. And closer views of Windy Hill and its spur, Spring Ridge.
