Crescent Moon rises, swinging in orbit toward her rendezvous with our Sun -- anticipating the partial solar eclipse Tuesday 10/25. Do-si-do: then a total eclipse of the full Moon, the night of Monday-Tuesday, 11/7-8.

[Just wake up, go outside, look up to see the total lunar eclipse. Beginning just after midnight; full from 2:16 - 3:42 am (max. 2:59 am, blood moon); ending just at dawn.]

On a different rhythm, pulsing to our annual swing around the Sun, our lone Blue Oak changes color for the season.
