As the sunny season winds down, plants prepare for rain and planting time. This wild rose has fulfilled its task: inviting pollinators, to produce next season's seeds. Now rose hips are flourishing elsewhere on this plant. These flowers relax gracefully, yielding their petals one by one, maintaining their beauty until the last.
