White Globe Lily, Owls-clover in the Goldfields, Ithuriel's Spear, Blue Dicks -- springtime flowers abound in mid-April. Blossoms of rare Brewer's Onions add a sense of place to the serpentine ridge. Butterflies, birds, oaks, and grasslands -- a lovely morning to check out the birds from Escobar Gate -- and to indulge our interests in the whole natural smorgasbord.
