Springtime on Black Oak Trail and nearby. Flowers: Giant Trillium of various shades; shy Checker Lilies; spreading California Man-root; delicate Fat Solomon and Milkmaids. Plants and woodland scenes, including a doomed albino Buckeye. Birds in Valley Oaks near the Frog Pond, from the beginning and end of my mornings. Even a skittery spider from Mader Valley.
