Another day of mixed sunshine, rain -- and a rainbow!
Returning from our morning walk, we felt the light change: golden, magical. We turned up along Deer Path Trail, eager to experience the change in atmosphere. Several deer noticed our arrival at the ridge; they watched us for several minutes. A double rainbow presaged raindrops. The softest kiss of a rainfall passed gently over us. The moment was over, the deer stopped watching the dog, and we all moved on with our day.
