Between the rains. Buckeye and Dirca presage spring. The setting sun leaves its red hue behind, for a moment. The Great Blue Heron returns to the Frog Pond -- which is *finally* full to capacity, with the frogs *finally* broadcasting their mating calls with enthusiasm.
