The grassland is filling up with Coyote Brush (Baccharis pilularis), some in blossom. Coast Live Oaks (Quervus agrifolia) grow among the Coyote Brush. Oaks and Douglas Fir predominate on the hills beyond. Spring Ridge leads down from Windy Hill, which dominates many views from Portola Valley and much of the Peninsula. 9/30/2020, 8:40 am.
