Dramatic western clouds presage possible difficulty viewing conditions this eve. Though the internet says that 12/21/2020 is the closest approach, for our time zone, far from GMT, that may have occurred yesterday. What do you think? Tonight saw the most people come out, but the most difficult viewing conditions of any night in this sequence. (I didn't bother on totally overcast evenings.) Looking over the Frog Pond, Portola Valley.
