Corte Madera Creek is in the shadow, but the woods beyond are in sunlight. Near the bottom of the image, little surface waves divide the image into cells, a different shade of green in each. Circular ripples spread near the center of the frame, from the placid water flowing over a rock. Toward the top, a more complex pattern. The dark reflection of a tall straight tree cuts through the image from top to bottom. A few leaves and rocks, in focus, show that this is an actual photograph, taken over 1/160 second from Eagle Trail in Portola Valley, 6/21/2020, 8:03:07 am.
